John Franco is selling his home and almost everything in it.
The Mets Hall of Fame closer is moving from Staten Island to NY, now that most of his kids have grown and moved on. He is hosting an estate sale this weekend. According to the NY Post:
"The merchandise includes Mets memorabilia, video arcade machines, 19th-century oil paintings and a Harley-Davidson Roadster. The sale started Friday and continues through Sunday. The Staten Island Advance says the motorcycle was presented to Franco by his teammates in recognition of his 400th save. It fetched $7,000."
The Advance also has a nice video tour of Johnny's home. Look at what 400 career saves can buy you: pool balls with your name in them!
