On the same day that Joey Chestnut was making us all proud to be Americans, the once mighty eating champ Takeru Kobayashi held his own fake hot dog chowing contest. According to his own rules, he set a new record.

What have we come to as a society? And yes, I know this is not Mets related but hot dogs are just as American as baseball and competitive eating is just as serious a sport as baseball. We in Loge13 take it very seriously, anyway.
