The other day, i posted some video of
Mick Jagger at the World Cup. I still think it would be cool to catch a Met game someday with Sir Mick. However, I hope he roots for the other team.
So far, Mick has backed England, the U.S. and Brazil. All three teams have gone home, with the favorites (Brazil) getting eliminated today by the Netherlands.
Of course, as all fans of
Shea Rocks know, the Stones played Shea back in 1989. In 2012, the band will be celebrating 50 years together. That's also the year of the London Olympics. The latest greatest rumor is that Mick, Keith and the boys will do a mammoth tour, culminating in London for the games. Lets hope Citi Field is on the itinerary.
