For those of you who dont know....
1) According to published reports, it takes 2&1/2 minutes for the
"Apple" to be ready for the next use. Thus the Mets have been told to
take their time in hitting back-to-back homeruns.
2) There is a parking dispute with the lot closest to LGA at the Worlds
Fair Marina. Since the Met/Yank weekend, the marina wants a kick-back
from the Mets to allow car to park there. The Mets wont pay so the lots
off limits. Yesterday,12 of us were to meet there for a BBQ. I arrived
with my friend at 9:15 am to set up and found it strange no one was
there to take my $18. Then my cell phone started ringing. The rest of
the group arrived and said they cant get it. My friend, who's a cop,
went over and the group was allowed in with a police escort...Day
Saved!!!
3) Upon leaving the lot to go to the game, I asked NYPD if I can park
there Saturday for Paul McCartney's Concert. He said Yes and told me
All Parking for the concert will be $30.
