Loge13 original Ross Jones sent photos of his recent visit to the AAA All-Star game. He now offers this update from Dodgers Stadium:

On the last part of my vacation. Went to Chavez Ravine tonight. Since the Wilpons want to recreate the Dodger experience, I have a few recommendations for them:

It was fireworks night and they let all the people who had bleacher and lower level seats on the field for a better view. People seemed excited to be able to stand on the major league grass.

It was 60s night and the entire dispaly was set to Beatles music. Young and old sang along.

Finally, the refugees from Flatbush understand the importance of giving people in the back row their space. Let's hope this one area where the Mets decide to yet again recreate the Dodger experience.

Thanks Ross Jones! That last photo is especially revealing. Maas the Yankee fan sent us some similar photos from San Francisco So at least two California stadiums enforce a no standing zone behind the last row of sections. If the Wilpons intend to pay homage to both the  NY Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers, then install some no standing zones in Citi Field.

Are you seriously still complaining about the standing area? Maybe you shouldn't have bought tickets in the LAST row. Do you also attend concerts and get upset when people sing along to the songs or dare stand up at an assigned seating venue?

The viewing experience has changed. This isn't your father's ballpark. Change has come and it's time we all get used to it whether we like it or not. And if your feeling is "not" then there is always SNY.
