We remembered Tom Seaver's one-hitter earlier, which happened 40 years ago today.

But there's another anniversary that's even bigger...

The Kingman Elders are celebrating their 54th anniversary today.

And how did they memorialize the occasion? By going to Citi Field and watching Livan Hernandez get mugged by the Dodgers.

Those are real Met fans. And real great parents. Happy anniversary.  Here's to 54 more years together.

May we finally see a Met no-hitter during t hat time.

Congrats to mom and pop. Proud to have spent many years at Shea together. Wish them all the best.

54 years and you let them see the Mets get walloped by the Dodgers? Should have sprung for Yankee tickets, or traveled down with them to see the Phillies.

NatKiller (aka Kingman brother), at least I remembered the parental anniversary.
