— Days Without Shea —

As mentioned before, the Kingman patriarch and matriarch were at Citi Field today for the rainy coming out party. As seen here, the food vendors are now counting calories for you.

The first home run in Citi Field history was hit by Georgetown's Sean Lamont. Here is Sean rounding the bases, captured on the jumbotron:

And yes, Cowbell Man was at the game:

And here are the Kingman Elders, who gave glowing reviews today to the new Mets home:

Great pictures! I am getting excited about this. I am going to the workout on Sunday, April 5th. It will be very weird getting that first look from the 7 as it pulls in. I'll be looking for the World Series Trophies.

I don't know if I'm still on my post-Florida high, but I'm very mixed and a bit nervous for my first game (some Saturday in April for sure).

Good to see Cow Bell Man back for another season to bring a level of familiarity to the new ballpark.

Very sad to see Cow-Bell Jerk around. I was really hoping he went the way of Shea!

I've have been to the mets new park but still do not know where all the trophies went? And where is the mets hall of fame, does it exist in the new park?
