Our last stop of the final Shea Stadium walkabout today was Gate D. The true last stop normally would have been Gate E but they already tour down Gate E!
I probably entered that Gate 250 times easily in my lifetime. And now, to paraphrase a one-time resident of Shea, it's not half the Gate it used to be:
There's a Citi Field hanging over thee
Oh the end of Shea came suddenly...
