— Days Without Shea —

The Mets unveiled a new site for Citi Field and its ticket plans. Thanks for the heads up, Rickey24.

Check out the site here.

As Rickey mentioned, they conveniently omitted the starting price for seats in the Promenade level (i.e., the New Upper Deck). They also do not yet provide any info on partial plans.

Here is the diagram:

Citi Field overview-seating-diagramAs you can see, there is no Loge section anymore...not that I was seriously expecting one.

I guess the equivalent would be the Exelcsior level, with seats starting at $75.

Mr. Met, please call. I would like to talk about continuing our relationship.

Remarkable how many seats at Citi Field will be in fair territory. When Shea opened in 1964, just a small slice of seats were in fair territory. The bleachers in left field were added much later. That's already one big improvement.

I wonder if they will even have partial plans. Luckily we will be able to shell out $75 a game to watch them choke in real style.
