Loge13.com’s own Ron Hunt is down in Florida. He sent some awesome photos to share. The Mets played the Marlins Saturday and lost 12–4, mostly due to Pelfrey’s miserable outing (7 runs allowed). Most of the starters who can walk played in the game.
ATM I can’t post a slide show of the photos so I’ll put up what I can:
Tradition Field in St. Lucie, built for the Mets, remodeled in 2003, and their home since their relocation from St. Petersburg in 1988, looks like many minor league parks built recently such as Newark, Bridgeport, and Hudson Valley in our area.
Sepia toned photos of Mets history, a la Shea, dot the luxury boxes.
I was glad to see Schneider warming up Pelfrey before the game.
