A heads up: seven packs for Shea’s final season go on sale to the general public today. The Mets have also whipped up a new Final Season logo:

There is a “Shea Goodbye” pack. You get:
Sat. June 14 7:10 p.m. Rangers Sat.
Sat. July 12 3:55 p.m. Rockies Sun.
Sat. June 26 7:10 p.m. Cardinals
Sun. August 10 1:10 p.m. Marlins
August 23 7:10 p.m. Astros
September 7 1:10 p.m. Phillies
Sun. September 28 1:10 p.m. Marlins
I had really hoped to get to that last game and figured the Mets would offer season ticket holders a chance to buy some. But that would be bad for business. Much better for the Mets to sell those coveted final games in a cluster and gouge as much money as they can from fans. Kudos!
If next September is anything like last September, those should be exciting games indeed. Fortunately, the Mets have done little to improve their roster so the odds are good we’ll get a repeat.
