Soon this will all be an innocuous parking lot. People will succumb to overpriced fees for the privilege of parking their SUV’s on the spot where Seaver made his debut, where Buckner watched the ball go through his legs, where everyone from the Beatles to Lucas Prata made their own unique contributions to music history, etc.
But for now, Shea is still the home of the Mets. And the magic number is 11.
