We just posted Bob’s ticket stub from Seaver’s last game at Shea.

To appease the karmic spirits, we also present for you this memory of Seaver’s Met comeback.

When Seaver returned to the Mets for the 1983 season, our own Ron Hunt was there. He snuck down to the box seats and took this photo:

Awesome picture of Seaver’s windup. Ron Hunt got him just as his right knee touched the mound. That’s a young Darryl Strawberry in right field. And guess who’s playing 2nd base?

I remember watching some of Seaver's first game back on TV on my lunch hour. It was very exciting. Too bad the Mets let him go a SECOND time!
