HoJo may be wondering why he took the hitting coach job. The Mets continued to leave guys on base throughout the game, stranding 11 runners.

Fortunately, Lastings Milledge is adding some life to the team. Thursday night, he scored the go-ahead run, running 1st to home on a Gotay double and pulling off a nifty slide to beat the tag. Last night, he drove in what turned out to be the winning run.

Today, Oliver Perez returns from the DL to face Kyle Lohse (5–10. 4.47 ERA).
