Nice pics! The ballpark is going up pretty fast. I guess they'll meet their 2009 deadline, unlike Shea which was originally supposed to open for the 1963 season.

After the opening ceremony for Shea's official opening in 1964, the New York Times wrote, “Shea Stadium, which was not completed in April, 1962, which was not completed in April, 1963, and which is still not completed in April, 1964, was dedicated anyway yesterday.”

Some people think Shea was never finished.
