Forget the 40th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper. Never mind the 30th anniversary of the Tom Seaver trade.

June 5^th 1987 marks the 20th anniversary of the marriage of Marvel Comic super hero Spiderman to Mary Jane Watson.

The wedding took place at Shea Stadium. Here’s a pre-wedding interview from Shea with the couple and their creator, Stan Lee, and an Entertainment Tonight segment, with footage from the ceremony. I think I spotted my old haircut in the stands:
