Yesterday we declared the Met malaise over and posted an Ace Frehley-fueled Met video to will this wish into reality.  Then the Mets went out and troucned the A’s 9–1.

Let us hope this marks the beginning of the Met turnaround. Yes they have won the opening game of tha past three series. But this time it’s different. The Met’s are home for a spell and guys are hitting. Delgado went 2–4. Even Glavine got two hits (including a double) and almost went 1st to home on a Reyes double in the 6th. Jason Kendall made an outstanding tag to mow down the speedy Glavine.

Glavine even pitched into the 9th inning. That tells you where his head’s at. He wants the ball and he wants to shake out of this slump, as does the rest of the team. Here’s to El Duque putting his last start behind him tonight.

And because we’re superstitious, here’s more Ace Frehley. Loge13 will not stop with the Kiss solo albums until this groove has run its course.
