El Duque comes back from the DL tonight as the Mets open a three-game series vs. the Marlins.
Miami is a good place for Hernandez to return. He is 3–0 lifetime there, with a 1.93 ERA.
Earlier this season, Hernandez struck out 10 and went 7 innings in a Met 11–3 victory there.
After the day game Sunday, the Mets fly home and are off Monday before starting a three-game series with the Giants.
The Yankees, meanwhile, will be out of town Monday, playing Toronto. Once again, on a major summer holiday, there is NO major league baseball game in New York City. Seems like a lost opportunity.
