The Mets finally beat the Marlins in the last game of this series. 6–3.

Oliver Perez struck out 10 in another strong outing. The “david Wright is back” boosters are no doubt lauding his 2–5 day at the plate. Wright did also make two errors, one of which resulted in 2 unearned runs.

And Heilman did not give up any runs in he 8th today. he did not pitch.

Now it’s time for the Mets first west coast swing of the year. A 3–3 road trip would be totally fine, given the condition of our rotation and infield.
