Rather than going to Shea to boo Barry Bonds, Met fans should instead be cheering on one of the Giants.
It is great to see Armando Benitez in a San Francisco uniform. And still up to his old tricks.
Benetiz came in to a 4–3 Giants lead in the 12th last night and quickly made it a 5–4 Mets win.
But its the way he blows saves that makes him special. This time it took two balks to tie the game, then a Delgado bomb to complete the implosion.
You can feel the pain over at El Lefty Malo – the definitive Giants blog. Apparently even the Giants radio announcers were slamming our former closer.

It's good to see Delgado doing well. He's a great guy and we all enjoyed him while he was in Toronto. It's too bad we couldn't afford him. He's the reason I cheer for the Mets in the NL.
