The folks over at MetsBlog.com picked up on our birthday celebrations and added many happy memories of their own.

This is why Loge13 is here: to celebrate Shea Stadium and the many historical moments it has provided…and to cajole others to do the same. Occasionally, we write about the Mets too but today is all about the doomed concrete funhouse by the bay.

Happy Birthday Shea!
