ShawnGreenNot much to say about last night’s game. The Mets had to lose one eventually. Best to get it over with in April. Now they can concentrate on going undefeated from here on out without the pressure of wondering when that one loss would happen.


The defense was a bit sloppy for the first time this year and it’s no fun seeing Wright strike out three times. But there’s not much to complain about. Lets just win today, take the series and head home with a 5–1 opening road trip record.

Good news: Pelfrey had a strong six innings in his last Triple-A start before Friday’s scheduled outing against the Nationals.
